The quality of fresh and frozen semen Bali bull assessed from different ejaculate volume

Abstract Semen volume is the amount of ejaculate released by male Bali cattle during one ejaculation, which consists spermatozoa and seminal plasma. The purpose this study was to determine effect ejaculation on quality fresh frozen semen. collection carried out using an artificial vaginal method. collected semen then evaluated with microscopic parameters: motility, viability, abnormalities. came from 7 bulls. data obtained were analyzed one-way ANOVA. results showed that there no significant difference (P>0.05) between also post thawing based parameters tested. sperm concentration bulls has average 935.75 ± 80.25 x 10 6 . percentage motility 70.79±1.26 while for 47.83±1.89. viability 80.04±3.68 52.87±0.67. abnormality value 8.54±1.88 23.83±4.22.
